About Us

Club Volante was founded by four friends with a passion for classic cars and for Italy, and our aim is to enable other enthusiasts to share the pleasures of both. We hope that Bastia Creti will become a haven for classic and vintage car aficionados from all over the world.

Club Volante is based in the Upper Tiber Valley, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The area offers lovely scenery, excellent Italian cuisine and, of course, uncrowded highways and mountain passes where you can rediscover the joy of driving an open car on an open road.

Our events will take you on routes which will test the cars and their drivers, both on and off the clock, and introduce you to some of the most fascinating towns and best restaurants in this part of Italy.

If you choose not to take advantage of our organised activities, or perhaps would like to spend some days exploring on your own, you are free to select your own itinerary. You are also very welcome to bring your own car, enjoy the Club Volante atmosphere and the company of fellow enthusiasts, and participate in our events.

Club Volante is based in Bastia Creti, which stands high above the village of Spedalicchio and has spectacular views of the Niccone valley and the surrounding countryside.

Accomodation, either self-catering or full board, is available in the Borgo Bastia Creti, which has been restored to a very high standard and is elegantly furnished. There is also a wide range of rental property in the area, ranging from simple apartments to luxury houses with full service and swimming pool.
