About Us - Future
Our objective is to turn Bastia Creti into a haven for classic and vintage car enthusiasts from all over the world.
Over the coming years we will continue to build and upgrade our collection of classic cars, focusing primarily on high-performance, open-top European models. The new additions will, of course, be restored to concours condition and will have the necessary credentials to enable us, and our clients, to enter local, national and international events.
We will be taking part in the 2006 Winter Marathon, one of Italy's toughest and most challenging events, with two Club Volante cars. Clients who wish to join us will be very welcome. This event covers a distance of 500 Kilometres through the Dolomites, at night, with almost half the route at over 1,500m above sea level climbing in some sections to over 2,200m. Devotees to the marathon claim that severe weather conditions are infinitely preferable.
The four founder members of Club Volante are also planning to participate in the Beijing-Paris rally in 2007 in, of course, a Bentley.
However, whilst offering our clients the opportunity to enter the more exotic Italian events we will be careful not to lose sight of our principal objective of turning the clock back 50 years, to the days when you could really enjoy driving an open car on an open road, with the added bonus of the breathtaking scenery and the excellent food and wine of this beautiful region of Italy
